Principal Specialist, FP&A

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with team members from Requirements & Capabilities at all levels and liaise with SSBUs for the effective management and execution of Raytheon NBI.

• Review and authorize ERPM funding requests to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Evaluate internal investments for their profitability, risk, and alignment with strategic goals.

• Create the Annual Operating Plan.

• Prepare quarterly NBI and Overhead EACs.

• Generate weekly and monthly NBI and Overhead reports, including variance analysis.

• Develop investment presentations tailored for senior management.

• Deliver monthly status updates to the LADS CFO Vice President.

• Compile ad hoc reports as needed.

• Collaborate with various levels of senior management and receive mentorship and guidance within the FP&A team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR an Advanced degree in a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Power BI, and/or Excel, including Power Query.

• Familiarity with Finance Business Systems such as APEX, PRISM, Analysis for Office, and/or Rplan.

• Experience in synthesizing large volumes of data into insightful analysis.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Motivated self-starter with exceptional organizational and prioritization capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a demanding and dynamic environment while meeting tight deadlines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with various stakeholders.

• Previous experience in Program Cost Controls or Bid & Proposal finance.

• Understanding of disclosure statements and Cost Accounting Standards.
