Financial Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess contracts and churn volume promptly based on client evidence, SOX compliance, and revenue recognition policies.

• Keep updated knowledge of client contract stipulations, services delivered, and factors influencing revenue and invoicing activities or adjustments.

• Ensure a high degree of precision in contract evaluations.

• Evaluate revenue based on client evidence and guarantee that contracts are established in line with accounting standards and contract stipulations.

• Adhere to controls that ensure the integrity of financial data processed for clients.

• Collect documentation and information from client team contacts and other resources to streamline revenue assessment and approval.

• Comply with stipulated Quality SLA parameters.

• Assist with month-end closing processes and manage high-volume tasks.

• Uphold a strong standard of integrity and ethics.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and their practical application.

• Strong analytical and interpretation skills for comprehending client contract terms and conditions.

• Familiarity with OTC ERPs; experience with Workday is a plus.

• Proficient in basic Excel and other logical functions.

• Skills in relating and reconciling data.

• Ability to collaborate with the team to support month-end closures and manage high-volume workloads.

• Willingness to work US shifts and extend hours to meet tight deadlines when necessary.

• Graduate qualification; B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA, CA/CS/ICWA.

• Audit / IFRS certification would be an additional asset.

• 0–2 years of relevant financial accounting experience, ideally in OTC.

• Understanding of the OTC function.

• Previous experience in meeting tight deadlines and working with larger teams, with a proven track record of responsibility for accuracy and timeliness.

• Work authorization in India without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
