This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Assist in the complete investment process, which includes identifying investment trends, creating presentation and briefing materials, and performing financial and technical analyses.
• Aid in deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, developing business models, and managing the opportunity pipeline.
• Gather market intelligence at industry events and perform market research utilizing public resources and third-party service providers.
• Coordinate due diligence activities with corporate and Business Unit functional teams.
• Support portfolio analysis by evaluating capabilities, technologies, and financial metrics in relation to strategy and market opportunities.
• Prepare briefings for senior management by summarizing and conveying insights derived from thorough analyses.
• Foster productive working relationships with RTX corporate and business unit functions, including Technology, Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Digital.
• Manage multiple projects while offering clear guidance and support to cross-functional team members in a collaborative setting.
• Report directly to the Investment Principal and work alongside the entire RTX Ventures team throughout the portfolio lifecycle.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory; only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information related to this program/contract.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in transactions or strategy, such as in VC/CVC, top-tier investment banking, business/corporate development, or consulting.
• Demonstrated analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in transactions involving M&A, joint ventures, minority investments, partnerships, or similar activities.
• An MBA and/or an advanced technology degree is preferred.
• Experience with S&P Capital IQ and Pitchbook is advantageous.
• Knowledge of the aerospace and defense sector is preferred.
