Financial Operations Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support clients with routine operations, administration, bookkeeping, payroll tasks, budgeting, and various analyses and projects.

• Report directly to a Senior Associate at Salesberry Group.

• Provide exceptional service and assistance to clients.

• Utilize practical knowledge of accounting procedures.

• Maintain proactive communication, offering updates and responses to client inquiries.

• Foster strong working relationships between clients and consultants.

• Manage bill payments and account reconciliations.

• Organize expense reports and supporting documentation.

• Handle client invoicing and accounts receivable.

• Process payroll efficiently.

• Aid in the preparation and input for monthly reporting and budgeting tasks.

• Ensure precision in financial records and adherence to accounting standards.

• Assist in financial analysis to facilitate decision-making and highlight trends.

• Help ensure that financial platforms and processes are utilized effectively to meet client requirements.

• Support administrative duties for special projects.

• Perform additional tasks as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping/accounting.

• Proven experience working successfully in a remote team setting.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality customer/client engagement and relationship management.

• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

• Willingness to assist with all operational needs of clients.

• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment and willing to adapt to change while taking initiative to ensure quality service.

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Preferred: 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

• Preferred: Familiarity with GAAP.

• Preferred: Significant experience and/or certification in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.

• Preferred: Experience with Google Suite/Workspace, Asana, Keeper, and Slack.

• Preferred: A desire to support progressive organizations and their missions.
