This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee new initiatives and proposals, along with contract execution activities.
• Assist in strategic solutions and offer recommendations for proposal, negotiation, and execution challenges.
• Ensure proposals are delivered on time and contracts are executed as planned.
• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure successful contract execution.
• Identify, address, and resolve contractual challenges.
• Confirm that negotiated terms and conditions align with company policies.
• Provide insight on contractual and business matters, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation strategies related to contracts and programs.
• Establish and uphold effective partnerships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with customers concerning correspondence, contractual modifications, and issues.
• Manage contracts while directly engaging with program leadership.
• Support the development and production of contracts for domestic, FMS, and subcontractor needs.
• Take part in business management reviews, including quarterly EAC reviews.
• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Knowledge in contracts management, program management, business management, finance, and/or supply chain processes and procurement.
• Familiarity with contracts, terms and conditions, RFPs, RFQs, FAR, DFARS, or comparable contract experience.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required from day one.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and managing various contract aspects and agreements, including Proprietary Information Agreements.
• Proficiency with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplemental (DFARS) requirements.
• Ability to apply analysis and critical thinking to solve complex problems.
• Understanding of the financial elements of contracts and risk quantification.
• Experience with intellectual property, license agreements, or teaming agreements is preferred.
• Advanced degrees related to contracts, such as an MBA, JD, Law Degree, or Master of Science in Finance, are preferred.
