This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in the execution of contingent labor strategies by utilizing project management principles, CORE, and the gated review process.
• Establish project scope, objectives, timelines, work statements, and budgets for effective project execution.
• Aid in the rollout of the Contingent Labor Request System (CLRS).
• Oversee commodity/account management and sourcing strategies.
• Apply supply chain strategies and supplier selection methodologies that align with total cost of ownership, pricing, quality, timeliness, and reliability standards.
• Outline and disseminate sourcing strategies, best practices, and acceptable service levels.
• Formulate strategic plans for commodities or key suppliers.
• Cultivate relationships with strategic accounts across various commodities.
• Support and facilitate supplier negotiations, including team assembly, objective formulation, strategy development, preparation, negotiation involvement, approvals, and final agreements.
• Carry out responsibilities that promote departmental objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Leverage RTX strategic sourcing strategies, cost-saving initiatives, GRME initiative, and the Contingent Labor Sourcing Tool (Fieldglass).
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proven experience in the strategic sourcing process.
• Background in implementation, negotiations, collaboration with internal leadership, and execution.
• Experience in contract management and negotiations.
• Proficient in developing and managing supplier relationships.
• Familiarity with spend data analytics.
• Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
• Experience with contingent labor and professional services commodities is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are preferred.
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills are preferred.
• Ability to manage conflicts and resolve problems is preferred.
• Capability to prioritize and manage time effectively is preferred.
