Principal Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Serve as a senior strategic and technical consultant, providing expertise on complex cybersecurity initiatives and strategic client engagements.

• Integrate capabilities across Application Security, Data Security, and Identity & Access Management.

• Comprehend client business and security priorities, translating them into effective solution strategies and use cases.

• Recognize opportunities where multiple cybersecurity capabilities can fulfill broader client needs.

• Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and solution discussions with security leaders, architects, and senior client stakeholders in both German and English.

• Design solution strategies for complex and strategic opportunities.

• Facilitate and drive demonstrations, technical evaluations, and Proofs of Concept.

• Create reusable cross-portfolio use cases, solution methodologies, technical narratives, and demo concepts.

• Leverage knowledge of AI, Generative AI, and emerging AI technologies within the cybersecurity domain.

• Identify actionable opportunities for integrating AI into cybersecurity solutions and client use cases.

• Contribute to technical enablement and promote knowledge sharing.

• Relay client and market insights to Product Management and Engineering teams.

• Collaborate across the broader OpenText portfolio when requirements extend beyond cybersecurity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, Security Architecture, or a similar client-facing technical role.

• In-depth expertise in at least one area of Application Security, Data Security, or Identity & Access Management, along with a working knowledge of the other two domains.

• Experience navigating complex enterprise security environments and engaging with strategic client opportunities.

• Strong skills in technical discovery and solution design.

• Capability to connect various technologies into broader cybersecurity use cases.

• Ability to engage confidently with technical specialists and senior client stakeholders.

• Proficiency in both German and English, including written and spoken communication.

• Competence in conducting workshops, demonstrations, and executive discussions, as well as producing client-facing materials in both languages.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.

• Skill in translating technical capabilities into clear client value propositions.

• Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively across Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams.

• Interest in the impact of AI on cybersecurity and readiness to incorporate it into client discussions.

• Familiarity with tools such as Fortify, Voltage, NetIQ, or similar is a plus.

• Practical understanding of AI, Generative AI, and LLM technologies is advantageous.

• Experience in developing reusable use cases, solution strategies, or demonstration concepts is a plus.
