This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Facilitate technical discovery workshops to gain insights into customer processes, outcomes, users, data, systems, constraints, and success metrics.
• Collaborate with Engagement Managers, Sales, Presales, and customer stakeholders to outline actionable solution strategies.
• Design comprehensive architectures that encompass applications, data, integrations, AI, workflows, identity, security, and operational aspects.
• Establish a clear solution vision, architecture principles, design decisions, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
• Choose standard features, configurations, extensions, or custom developments utilizing maintainable and upgradeable methodologies.
• Author and oversee architecture documents, technical specifications, interface designs, data models, decision records, and implementation guidance.
• Define and validate requirements for security, performance, scalability, availability, traceability, usability, and supportability.
• Conduct design reviews, manage technical debt and deviations, and maintain traceability from requirements to acceptance.
• Provide daily technical guidance to consultants, developers, data and AI specialists, integration resources, QA teams, and partners.
• Break down solutions into work packages and assist with estimates, sequencing, dependencies, and work breakdown structures.
• Oversee build, integration, data migration, testing, deployment, transition to operations, release readiness, cutover, hypercare, and knowledge transfer.
• Lead technical triage and root-cause analysis for intricate cross-product or cross-domain challenges.
• Act as the primary technical adviser to customers, articulating architecture choices, trade-offs, risks, and implications.
• Facilitate decision-making among business, IT, security, architecture, and operational stakeholders.
• Present solution status, design decisions, and technical challenges to governance forums and executive stakeholders.
• Define validation strategies, identify risks and mitigations, assess scope and design changes, and support change control processes.
• Assist in proposals, demonstrations, estimates, solution narratives, Statements of Work, and delivery plans.
• Contribute reusable architectures, patterns, accelerators, templates, lessons learned, and technical standards.
• Mentor consultants and technical leads in architectural methods, design quality, documentation, and effective customer communication.
• Adhere to legal, commercial, information security, health and safety, and business conduct standards.
• Significant experience in designing and delivering enterprise software or digital transformation solutions.
• Proven technical leadership capabilities in multi-disciplinary implementation teams.
• Ability to guide solution definition from build through integration, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.
• Strong architectural skills across applications, data, integrations, workflows, security, and non-functional requirements.
• Capacity to translate business processes and desired outcomes into effective solution designs, implementation guidance, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience in governing technical scope, design decisions, risks, dependencies, and changes across customers, partners, and distributed delivery teams.
• Exceptional skills in workshop facilitation, presentation, written communication, and technical storytelling at the executive level.
• Ability to navigate uncertainty, evaluate trade-offs, and drive prompt decision-making.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel and work across various customer locations and time zones as needed.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Siemens Digital Industries Software, including ICX, SLC, Mendix, Teamcenter, NX, Opcenter, Graph Studio, AI Studio, or associated offerings.
• Preferred: Experience in architecting multi-product solutions that integrate enterprise applications, industrial data, AI, low-code applications, and business workflows.
• Preferred: Background in industrial, manufacturing, aerospace and defense, automotive, electronics, semiconductor, energy, or other complex enterprise environments.
• Preferred: Knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures, APIs and integration patterns, data platforms, identity and access management, DevSecOps, or enterprise observability.
• Preferred: Experience in directing prescriptive, best-practice-led deployments.
• Preferred: Experience managing offshore, nearshore, partner, or systems-integrator teams.
• Preferred: Relevant architecture, cloud, platform, security, or Siemens product certifications.
