Principal Solutions Architect, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert for AI Security within the US Sales Engineering organization, assisting with strategic opportunities from start to finish.

• Design and present solutions for AI Infrastructure Security, AI Application Security, and AI Public-Facing Application Security.

• Ensure the security of model training and serving pipelines, as well as GPU and cloud AI workloads, MLOps toolchains, and compute/data infrastructure.

• Safeguard LLM-integrated applications, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows against threats such as prompt injection, data poisoning, model theft, and insecure plugin/tool usage.

• Protect customer-facing AI applications and APIs from exposure, misuse, and data leakage.

• Lead the technical discovery process, solution architecture development, and proof-of-concept initiatives for significant AI security projects.

• Develop and maintain reference architectures, demonstration environments, and reusable enablement materials for the Sales Engineering team.

• Provide executive-level and technical in-depth presentations to Chief Information Security Officers, security architects, and AI/ML engineering leaders.

• Collaborate with Product Management to integrate field and customer insights into the AI security roadmap.

• Monitor the competitive landscape in AI security and maintain strategic positioning and battlecards.

• Mentor and enhance the skills of Sales Engineers and Solutions Architects in AI security concepts, demo delivery, and objection management.

• Represent TrendAI at industry events, webinars, and analyst briefings focusing on AI security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in security architecture, solutions engineering, or a similar pre-sales/technical role.

• Strong understanding of AI/ML system architecture, encompassing model training and serving infrastructure, MLOps pipelines, and cloud AI services like AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and GCP Vertex AI.

• Practical knowledge of LLM application security risks, including prompt injection, jailbreaks, data poisoning, and model extraction/theft.

• Experience in securing public-facing applications and APIs, covering API security, web application firewalls (WAF), and exposure management.

• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP), or equivalent cloud-native security tools.

• Exceptional skills in executive presentations, communication, and technical storytelling.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
