This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Design and develop platform services, APIs, infrastructure components, runtime systems, and ingestion frameworks on an enterprise scale.
• Architect the context store to evolve lakehouse infrastructure into AI-ready systems equipped with structured, unstructured, vector, and graph capabilities.
• Address multi-tenant isolation and scaling challenges within enterprise SaaS environments.
• Create data contracts for ingestion, validation, processing, routing, storage, and serving across diverse systems.
• Manage shared infrastructure, including lakehouse, vector stores, graph databases, and OLTP systems.
• Promote technical standards through RFCs, architecture reviews, and comprehensive documentation.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence architectural decisions across various teams.
• Produce production code utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.
• Troubleshoot distributed systems issues involving Kubernetes, workflow orchestration, and microservices.
• Define the technical direction, lead multi-quarter initiatives, and pioneer AI-native development methodologies.
• Over 10 years of experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or backend systems within a SaaS organization.
• Proven experience in constructing enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• In-depth knowledge of multi-tenant architectures and strategies for tenant isolation.
• Strong skills in Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Practical experience with distributed systems patterns, including service mesh, event-driven architecture, and orchestration.
• History of successfully driving multi-quarter technical initiatives from inception to production at scale.
• Experience in designing contract-driven or schema-first data platforms.
• Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration tools.
• Experience with data quality frameworks, observability systems, and cost attribution on a large scale.
• Background in supporting enterprise workloads with stringent compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and GitOps practices.
• Familiarity with lakehouse technologies such as Iceberg or Polaris, vector stores, graph databases, and OLTP systems.
• Capability to embrace AI-native development and utilize AI-assisted development tools.
• Ability to influence without formal authority and communicate asynchronously.
