Principal Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Provide architectural oversight and strategic direction for cloud-native initiatives across various product development teams.

• Serve as the primary technical authority for cloud-native projects.

• Ensure architectural coherence, standardization, and technical excellence throughout the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to incorporate cloud-native technologies.

• Bridge the divide between product teams and core platform infrastructure.

• Facilitate a cohesive technical strategy for the efficient deployment and operation of cloud-native services.

• Mentor engineering teams throughout the organization.

• Assist in enhancing the scalability, performance, security, and functionality of the managed Kubernetes product.

• Integrate open-source technologies to deliver user-friendly managed services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• Proven experience in building and scaling managed services and platforms based on Kubernetes.

• In-depth knowledge of container runtimes, such as Docker, and orchestration tools.

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash programming languages.
