This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the Adobe Experience Manager Tech Lead for various website and platform initiatives.
• Oversee the technical workstream from the initial concept to the final launch.
• Convert architecture and product objectives into actionable plans, technical narratives, sequencing, dependencies, estimates, risk assessments, and definitions of completion.
• Develop high-quality website components, blocks, and code utilizing HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Java, and AEM.
• Set coding standards and best practices for AEM and web development.
• Review code submissions, collaborate with engineers, mentor P2 engineers, and guide smaller delivery teams.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps on aspects such as testing, security, accessibility, performance, observability, and readiness for deployment.
• Establish API contracts, including payloads, retries, timeouts, authentication, failure management, and ownership across AEM and external systems.
• Investigate defects, environmental challenges, build failures, and performance issues.
• Work alongside the CMS AEM Architect in making architectural decisions and evaluating technical trade-offs.
• Facilitate technical workshops, presentations, demonstrations, and client interactions.
• Assist with development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), hardening processes, launching, and hypercare support.
• Utilize GenAI tools, document reusable patterns, share insights, and enhance delivery processes.
• A minimum of 7 years of professional software engineering experience, showcasing success in leading technical delivery for engineering teams.
• Proven experience in delivering production websites or digital platforms, with hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and supporting AEM-based solutions.
• Strong consulting, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Java, with solid foundations in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Practical experience using GenAI productivity tools like Gemini CLI, Claude Code, or Codex.
• Fundamental understanding of core LLM concepts.
• Full-stack leadership experience on CMS website projects.
• Experience in designing, integrating, and maintaining external APIs, microservices, data sources, and distributed systems.
• Strong dedication to testing practices, accessibility, security, performance, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of responsive web design, mobile-first approaches, cross-browser compatibility, Core Web Vitals, accessibility standards, and SEO-friendly frontend architecture.
• Ability to work through unfamiliar codebases, identify root causes, and implement focused improvements.
• Effective communication skills, maintaining composure during incidents and demonstrating sound technical judgment.
• E-Verify/Form I-9 work authorization verification for the U.S.
• Preferred qualifications: in-depth knowledge of AEM internals and ecosystem; Adobe Skills for AEM and Dispatcher; experience with Adobe Commerce, App Builder, API Mesh, Workfront, or Analytics integrations; mentoring or technical leadership experience across teams; Adobe certification or comparable production experience.
