Principal Software Development Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of resilient low-latency services and APIs.

• Create scalable multi-tenant architectures.

• Construct and enhance forward and reverse proxies for both performance optimization and security measures.

• Implement observability solutions for effective monitoring and alerting across various services.

• Utilize AI development tools and agentic frameworks to facilitate coding, testing, and problem resolution.

• Mentor and guide junior developers.

• Take proactive roles in architectural decisions and incorporate team feedback.

• Assess new technologies and methodologies to refine system architectures and development practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Go developer.

• Proven expertise in developing low-latency applications.

• Background in multi-tenant B2B SaaS architectures.

• Experience in developing forward and reverse proxies is highly desirable.

• Strong proficiency in Go programming.

• Knowledge of Python and/or TypeScript.

• Familiarity with network protocols and concepts.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

• Practical experience with AI development tools and incorporating AI assistance into daily development practices.

• Background in agentic frameworks and context engineering is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of public API design and engineering is advantageous.

• Understanding of LLMs, embeddings, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering is a plus.

• Capability to lead projects with minimal supervision.
