This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead strategic discovery sessions with both prospective and existing healthcare payer clients.
• Conduct assessments of the current state of client workflows, administrative platforms, data ecosystems, integration requirements, technical limitations, and organizational readiness.
• Convert client business challenges into solution requirements and success metrics.
• Facilitate executive workshops, architecture discussions, solution design sessions, and strategic whiteboarding activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executives, business leaders, operational staff, and technical stakeholders throughout the sales process.
• Develop comprehensive, end-to-end solution strategies across areas such as interoperability, data, analytics, intelligence, workflow, and healthcare payer domains.
• Design and articulate solution architectures that encompass data ingestion, transformation, integration, APIs, interoperability, security, workflows, and scalable deployment.
• Create views of current and future-state architecture, data flows, integration models, and solution roadmaps.
• Lead or assist with proofs of concept, pilot projects, architecture reviews, and technical validations.
• Direct technical and solution-consulting strategies for intricate healthcare payer opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales to formulate pursuit strategies, clarify value drivers, position differentiators, and align solutions with client priorities.
• Coordinate efforts with Product, Technology, Engineering, Delivery, Security, Legal, and domain experts during complex pursuits.
• Address technical, operational, functional, regulatory, commercial, and competitive objections.
• Create executive narratives, value propositions, quantified business cases, and investment rationales.
• Facilitate executive workshops, technical workshops, solution strategy sessions, demonstrations, and architecture discussions.
• Develop reusable narratives, workshop frameworks, value stories, architectural patterns, presentation materials, and demonstration assets.
• Act as a subject matter expert in healthcare payer operations, technology environments, and data ecosystems.
• Formulate integrated solution recommendations and business cases for proposals and RFP responses.
• Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, decision points, and validation needs prior to commercial or delivery commitments.
• Build account-specific knowledge and uncover cross-sell, upsell, multi-solution, and strategic expansion opportunities.
• Provide insights related to clients, market trends, competition, and technology to support product strategy and roadmap planning.
• Mentor and guide other Solutions Consultants.
• Represent Cotiviti at client forums, executive workshops, industry events, and conferences.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 12+ years of experience in healthcare technology, solution consulting, pre-sales, sales engineering, enterprise architecture, healthcare consulting, or a similar client-facing role.
• Extensive experience within the healthcare payer ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of payer business models, operational processes, technology environments, and data ecosystems.
• Experience in selling, positioning, or supporting complex enterprise healthcare technology solutions.
• Proven experience leading strategic discovery, current-state assessments, solution workshops, architecture discussions, whiteboarding sessions, demonstrations, and technical validation.
• Experience in designing and articulating integrated, end-to-end solution architectures, including data flows, integrations, APIs, workflows, and interoperability patterns.
• Knowledge of payer domains such as claims, encounters, enrollment, eligibility, prior authorization, payment integrity, provider management, risk adjustment, quality improvement, and member engagement.
• Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards and technologies.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to connect technology capabilities to financial, operational, clinical, member, regulatory, and strategic value.
• Ability to engage credibly with C-suite executives, business leaders, operational stakeholders, enterprise architects, data teams, and technical professionals.
• Experience in developing and delivering executive presentations, solution demonstrations, technical workshops, business cases, and architecture recommendations.
• Capability to translate complex technical and operational information into clear, compelling, value-oriented narratives.
• Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to influence decisions and build alignment without direct authority.
• Capacity to work independently, manage multiple concurrent opportunities, and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
• Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, Technology, Engineering, Delivery, and client-facing teams.
• Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings, workshops, conferences, and other business needs.
