Principal Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise the creation of work statements, scope and priority definitions, budgets, and timelines for extensive and intricate programs.

• Generate documents that adhere to relevant standards and client specifications.

• Manage the selection and guidance of assigned project personnel.

• Ensure clear communication and comprehension of deadlines, tasks, and goals.

• Serve as the main contact with client program management.

• Review program status, pinpoint risks, document advancements, and execute risk mitigation strategies.

• Uphold the quality of program deliverables and resolve major issues impacting complex global initiatives.

• Oversee modifications to technical requirements, business needs, and timelines.

• Assess and secure additional resources as necessary.

• Engage in executive-level project decisions, proposal efforts, and sales discussions.

• Manage expectations by utilizing project metrics.

• Collect and evaluate client feedback and integrate it into future initiatives.

• Prepare and propose program operating and personnel budgets.

• Track expenditures and balance program resources to achieve optimal objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• A minimum of twelve years of experience in project management.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Catalyst.

• Experience in budget development, project planning, control, and assurance methodologies, including earned value management.

• Proficiency in project management software.

• Knowledge of finance and accounting concepts and practices.

• Expertise in quality management approaches and techniques.

• Experience with delivery assurance policies, procedures, and principles.

• Familiarity with productivity and methodology tools that enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.

• Experience with administrative processes.

• Understanding of client vision, business objectives, and critical success factors.

• Knowledge of delivery assurance principles and relevant procedures for the area.
