Principal Product Manager – Private Credit Valuations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Establish the long-term vision and growth strategy for a new private credit valuations product.

• Integrate expertise in valuation personas, advancements in AI/ML/LLM, and knowledge of the FinTech ecosystem to create and launch a commercially viable product.

• Supervise product initiatives throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure that opportunities are evaluated, defined, designed, and delivered effectively.

• Develop relationships with target users and set up user forums, working groups, and Alpha/Beta testing programs.

• Participate in relevant industry conferences to promote and market the product.

• Manage strategic conversations with internal and external stakeholders.

• Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, and senior leadership.

• Create and implement product roadmaps while securing executive and client approval.

• Conduct market research to uncover customer needs, industry trends, and competitive opportunities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in B2B FinTech product management.

• In-depth understanding of the private capital market landscape.

• Familiarity with valuation workflows.

• Knowledge of the private credit asset class.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Proficiency in product management tools such as Aha and Pendo.

• Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional product teams.

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• An advanced degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.

• CFA or CAIA certification is preferred.

• Must have the indefinite right to work in the United States.
