
Principal Product Manager, Integrations – Developer Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the Integrations & Developer Platform team at Gigawatt.
• Take ownership of the integration surface, which includes GraphQL APIs, SDKs, export formats, logs, and diagnostics.
• Formulate the strategy and roadmap for integrations, data quality tools, and outbound data products.
• Define and curate standard integration flows across various source systems and modules.
• Make decisions regarding data mastering for core utility entities and establish governance, synchronization, and reconciliation protocols.
• Design APIs, SDKs, documentation, sandboxes, reference implementations, and self-diagnosing error messages for external partners.
• Manage API versioning, backward compatibility, and deprecation policies.
• Oversee the interface between integration flows/data contracts and AI Platform agent APIs.
• Identify and attribute data quality issues, provide solutions, and establish critical checkpoints for data correctness.
• Define outbound data products including reverse ETL, event streams, APIs, files, and managed Snowflake solutions.
• Set criteria for promoting service-built integrations into the product lineup.
• Support the lighthouse deployment while maintaining independence from its integration team.
• Collaborate with engineering to drive production-ready releases on tight timelines.
• Define use cases and technical requirements, work together on data model and API design, and perform product testing.
• Establish and manage KPIs such as time-to-integrate, API coverage, data quality incidents, and post-launch support workload.
• Manage platform dependencies and help shape the evolution of the role as the company grows.
• Report directly to the SVP of Product and lead a product team.
• Collaborate with engineering, services, data science, AI Platform, and utility customers.
• Over 8 years of experience in product management.
• Extensive experience with integration, API, or data platform products used by external customers.
• Proven track record of shipping APIs, SDKs, or connector frameworks utilized by third parties in production settings.
• Familiarity with versioning, deprecation, and managing partner escalations.
• Experience delivering software in customer environments, whether on-premise or hybrid.
• Proficient in handling version skew, customer-controlled upgrades, and debugging without direct data access.
• Experience integrating complex legacy enterprise systems with tailored customer implementations.
• Insight into profiling, freshness, lineage, anomaly detection, and determining when to flag versus block data pipelines.
• Proficiency in reverse ETL, event streaming, batch and file transfers, and API delivery.
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse fundamentals to manage a Snowflake-based offering.
• Experience managing requests for one-off functionalities in the core product while defending product boundaries.
• Ability to connect partners, SMEs, services, and engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and structured problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with ambiguity in early-stage environments and quickly evolving responsibilities.
• Experience in the utility sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Bonus experience with MV90, CC&B, SAP IS-U, MDM, AMI head-ends, EAM, GIS, wholesale market operations, or prior software/data engineering roles.
• Familiarity with Jira, Figma, and standard product management tools.
