Platform Engineer – Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain system integrations within Hickory's technological ecosystem using APIs, webhooks, and integration platforms.

• Take ownership of and enhance Workato or a similar iPaaS automation system.

• Ensure consistent and well-monitored data flow between different systems.

• Create and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure and services.

• Write and maintain scripts and small applications to expand integration capabilities.

• Implement version control and CI/CD practices.

• Contribute to the architectural solutions and technical design.

• Utilize AI tools to enhance integration development and troubleshooting processes.

• Assist with API management, monitoring/observability, and security/identity configuration.

• Work collaboratively with technology and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

• Familiarity with Azure or another leading cloud platform.

• Practical experience with Workato or a comparable integration/iPaaS platform; Workato is preferred but not mandatory.

• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and standard integration patterns.

• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#.

• Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Basic understanding and comfort with AI-assisted tools.

• Experience in contributing to solution architecture or technical design.

• Excellent practical problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to work independently with a focus on delivery.
