Principal Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the product roadmap and establish the strategic direction for the product.

• Define and prioritize tasks, clearly distinguishing between committed work and aspirational projects.

• Create comprehensive PRDs to facilitate engineering estimation and development processes.

• Collaborate daily with engineering leads regarding scope, sequencing, and trade-offs.

• Remove obstacles to delivery and adjust project scope when deadlines are critical.

• Engage in POVs, customer discussions, and escalations to gain insights into security operations.

• Convert customer and SOC expertise into prioritized product initiatives with well-defined rationale.

• Design with a focus on transparency, control, and measured accuracy to foster customer trust.

• Own the enablement, launch, adoption, and post-release success metrics.

• Establish success metrics prior to development and evaluate outcomes post-launch.

• Proven decision-making ability in ambiguous situations, with a tendency to act decisively and make progress.

• Strong sense of urgency and a personal commitment to achieving outcomes.

• Eagerness to innovate in a domain that lacks a pre-defined playbook.

• A history of managing products from inception to completion and delivering at a rapid pace.

• Either extensive knowledge in security operations or a demonstrated capacity to quickly gain domain expertise through close collaboration with knowledgeable customers.

• Experience working directly with clients, including technical decision-makers and practitioners.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in creating documents that function as the team’s operational artifacts.

• Technical proficiency adequate for reviewing design documents, identifying risks, and engaging in scoping discussions.
