Principal Product Manager, AI Strategy – Execution

📋 Description

• Establish and uphold the AI vision and roadmap throughout the Merge portfolio.

• Identify the integration of AI within the data layer, workflow, and reading experience.

• Differentiate between workflow and data intelligence developed by Merge and pixel AI provided through the partner marketplace.

• Guide high-priority AI functionalities from discovery to launch in collaboration with radiologists and cardiologists.

• Manage the model registry, governance, and monitoring associated with the quality system.

• Shorten the model addition timeline from quarters to weeks.

• Translate portfolio-level AI strategies into a structured, evidence-based roadmap.

• Establish problem statements and success metrics for AI-assisted readings, turnaround-time improvements, and regulated models.

• Lead a dedicated, empowered team through the AI-native product development lifecycle.

• Advocate for Merge’s AI strategy with customers, clinical advisors, analysts, and internal leadership.

• Integrate stakeholder feedback into the roadmap.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product management, with senior responsibility for AI/ML-driven products successfully launched at scale.

• Proven ability to define strategy and deliver results, including managing a roadmap and executing critical features to completion.

• Proficient in applied AI/ML product decisions: model lifecycle, evaluation, governance, monitoring, and the trade-offs involved in presenting models to expert users.

• Experience collaborating with engineering and design within an empowered-team operating framework.

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clinicians, executives, and engineers.

• A background in healthcare, medical imaging, clinical workflows, or other regulated sectors.

• Experience with platform, marketplace, or partner-ecosystem products.

• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulated software development.
