This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Execute purchase orders and modifications in accordance with established contracts and pricing agreements.
• Oversee daily order management, including confirmations, scheduling, expediting, and resolution of invoices.
• Provide real-time updates to MPMs, PMs, and CM teams regarding reschedules, forecasts, and delivery impacts.
• Conduct RFP/RFQ processes to support program needs.
• Maintain relationships with Leverage and Bottleneck suppliers.
• Supervise supplier performance across delivery, quality, responsiveness, and service levels.
• Track metrics and initiate corrective actions using CORE.
• Offer insights to Commodity Leads to guide commodity strategies.
• Review Statements of Work and internal cost estimates.
• Develop and manage PIA/NDA agreements.
• Identify, assess, and select suppliers and business partners.
• Assist in proposal and quotation activities, covering cost/price, capability, and financial analysis.
• Formulate negotiation strategies and lead formal negotiations regarding price, schedule, and terms.
• Place purchase orders of varying complexity and value.
• Perform risk analysis and create mitigation plans.
• Travel to RTX facilities and supplier locations as necessary, approximately 25% of the time.
• Report directly to the Senior Procurement Manager.
• Support low-complexity mechanical components and assemblies for the LADS Mechanical Commodity Team.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 3 years of experience.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS or experience in highly regulated industries.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations.
• Background in Supply Chain, Procurement, Subcontract Management, Commodity Management, or related fields.
• Ability to lead and collaborate across multifunctional teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience supporting proposals and program governance.
• Capability to negotiate low- to medium-complexity non-standard agreements.
• Strong problem-solving and dispute-resolution abilities.
• Knowledge of MRP, SAP, purchase order placement, and material receipt processes.
• Experience with the delivery, acceptance, and invoicing of goods and services.
