This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee intricate contract negotiations for both current and prospective supplier collaborations.

• Ensure adherence to governmental and corporate policies, including FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and CPSR standards.

• Formulate and implement sourcing and procurement strategies from the development phase through production and sustainment.

• Prepare Fixed Price Firm (FFP) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) purchase orders along with associated documentation.

• Administer post-award purchase orders in accordance with corporate guidelines and operational instructions.

• Create and implement alternative sourcing strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Align strategic and technical roadmaps with supplier capabilities and capacities.

• Identify and formulate risk mitigation strategies and opportunity action plans within the supply chain.

• Conduct cost and price analyses, devise negotiation strategies, and lead negotiation efforts.

• Set terms and conditions for new suppliers in the energetics and propulsion commodities sector.

• Oversee initiatives to establish new suppliers as RTX-approved vendors.

• Develop and negotiate joint supplier agreements, including Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs), Long-Term Agreements (LTAs), pricing agreements, partnership contracts, and bailment agreements.

• Collaborate with the international subcontracts team to facilitate purchase orders with global suppliers.


⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a University degree and 5 years of experience in USG/DoD procurement, subcontracts, or Supply Chain Management, or an advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of pertinent experience.

• Proven experience in negotiating complex contracts, including FFP, CPFF, Cost Plus Award Fee (CPAF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), and Other Transaction Authority (OTA).

• Demonstrated experience managing critical supplier constraints.

• Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR).

• Experience in developing and executing Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs), requests for proposals, Best Value Source Selection (BVSS), supplier agreement execution, and medium to high-complexity supplier negotiations.

• Proficiency in resource planning software, such as SAP / PRISM, is preferred.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.
