This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Assess drawings, specifications, and purchasing history to establish sourcing strategies.
• Examine Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW) documents and work collaboratively with functional teams to create and update them.
• Prepare and distribute Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Evaluate quotes and proposals, analyzing outcomes.
• Develop negotiation strategies and lead the negotiation process.
• Resolve discrepancies related to flow-downs, specifications, quality notes, and Raytheon terms and conditions with cross-functional program stakeholders.
• Collect and organize necessary purchase-order documentation in accordance with internal guidelines.
• Carry out routine post-award management tasks.
• Engage substantially with suppliers in partnership with Commodity Performance Leads (CPLs).
• Generally requires a University Degree or equivalent experience alongside a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related domain and at least 3 years of experience.
• Prior experience in procurement is necessary.
• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or qualified to obtain the required export authorizations.
• U.S. citizenship is essential, as only U.S. citizens are permitted to access information under this program/contract.
• Experience in government procurement is preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP is required.
• Proficient in analyzing Cost and Pricing data and assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4).
• Proven knowledge and adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).
• Ability to comprehend technical specifications for procured hardware and services, including reviewing Statement of Work (SOW).
• Capable of managing multiple tasks and performing effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% is required.
