Principal Procurement Manager – Strategic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of service delivery for a selection of Vertice’s most critical accounts, including high-value private equity partnerships.

• Collaborate directly with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders to grasp their needs and technology strategies.

• Execute enterprise sourcing strategies that strike a balance between innovation and best practices.

• Manage vendor relationships across the customers’ largest expenditure areas.

• Leverage proprietary agentic workflows and AI-driven vendor insights to enhance negotiations and establish pricing benchmarks.

• Guide junior team members and establish operational standards.

• Define the commercial strategy and oversee technology-stack outcomes from start to finish.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, or procurement consulting.

• Proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations and timelines.

• Experience in technology and SaaS category management is highly desirable.

• Capability to provide strategic insights into customers’ procurement strategies.

• Ability to challenge both customers and suppliers to achieve optimal outcomes.

• Strong, confident, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in communicating with C-suite stakeholders.

• Engaged in active experimentation with the latest AI tools in personal workflows.

• Legally authorized to work in the designated region of the job.
