This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kazakhstan, +1 more country.
• Manage the technical relationship with 5–8 key strategic customers.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for MOSK, MKE, k0rdent, and the wider Mirantis portfolio.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of customer architectures, use cases, platform strategies, and related toolchains.
• Keep an up-to-date technical account plan for each customer.
• Discover opportunities to increase Mirantis usage across new workloads, clusters, environments, and teams.
• Eliminate technical barriers to enhance product integration.
• Facilitate technical alignment between customer engineering/platform teams and Mirantis Product and Engineering.
• Convert customer needs into product input and provide relevant guidance based on the roadmap.
• Conduct architecture reviews, upgrade planning sessions, roadmap briefings, and health checks both remotely and on-site.
• Collaborate with Support on critical cases, alerting responsibilities, and high-severity incidents.
• Offer account context, expedite resolutions, and tackle recurring issues through product and operational enhancements.
• Champion customer needs across Product, Engineering, Support, and Customer Success.
• Work alongside Technical Account Managers, Account Executives, and Solutions Engineers.
• Contribute to internal training, reference architectures, and best-practice recommendations.
• Over 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Proven track record of managing technical relationships with large enterprise clients and promoting the adoption of platform products.
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes operations, including cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, security, multi-cluster patterns, and production troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Significant experience with OpenStack core services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, and Glance.
• Practical knowledge of Neutron networking, including OVS and OVN, VLAN and VXLAN, and SDN concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Cinder storage backends, including Ceph RBD and LVM.
• Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed, estimated at 20–30%.
• Practical experience with MKE, k0rdent, OpenStack, or similar enterprise container and private-cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Helm, GitOps (Argo CD, Flux), observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki), and service mesh technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Cluster API).
• Exposure to enterprise security and compliance environments, including FedRAMP and PCI.
• Previous experience collaborating with channel and GSI partners on joint accounts.
