Principal Global Success Automation, Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Champion the integration of AI by creating tools that support Global Success.

• Oversee the design, implementation, and enhancement of Gigamon’s network visibility and security solutions.

• Explore alternative deployment strategies and recommend optimized solutions for clients in mobile networks, service providers, and enterprises.

• Guarantee adherence to technical standards including ISO 27001, CIS, NIST, and other relevant security policies.

• Collaborate with system architects to fulfill security requirements.

• Direct the implementation of security policies and ensure compliance with technical teams.

• Automate and refine post-sales processes to enhance customer satisfaction and expedite time to value.

• Perform testing, documentation, and pilot implementations to achieve superior deployment outcomes.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, system architects, and technical teams from end-users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of practical experience in the design, deployment, and management of network tools and applications, with a focus on security and scalability.

• In-depth technical knowledge of TCP/IP, Layer 2/Layer 3, as well as IPv4 and IPv6 protocols.

• Significant experience with VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure, and OpenStack.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C, and familiarity with APIs.

• A demonstrated history of leading technical projects and working with virtual teams across different locations.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, CIS, and NIST security frameworks and cybersecurity standards is highly desirable.

• Experience with SDKs and additional programming languages is an advantage.

• Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written.
