📋 Description

• Establish the technical vision, long-term architecture, and engineering roadmap for DNA Platforms.

• Oversee solution design, architecture evaluations, and technical decision-making for intricate, multi-team projects.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, and business stakeholders.

• Create scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable software platforms utilizing distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native architecture patterns.

• Direct modernization initiatives, platform engineering practices, automation, tooling, and the adoption of CI/CD.

• Set engineering standards, design principles, technical governance, and measurable practices for software quality, observability, performance, reliability, and security.

• Manage, mentor, and develop engineers and engineering managers.

• Facilitate technical forums, design reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives across geographically dispersed teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering, including the architecture and delivery of large-scale enterprise platforms.

• 10+ years of experience in designing distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and contemporary software delivery methodologies.

• 8+ years of experience in managing and developing teams within engineering, architecture, or platform technology roles.

• 8+ years of experience implementing security, reliability, performance, scalability, observability, and maintainability principles in production systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, relevant experience, and/or military service.

• Experience in financial technology, banking, payments, risk, or fraud platforms is a plus.

• Experience leading platform modernization, cloud adoption, or developer productivity initiatives is a plus.

• Experience collaborating with geographically distributed engineering teams is a plus.
