Senior SQL Database Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee all tasks related to the management of computerized databases.

• Collaborate with other information systems managers to project long-term needs for database administration and design.

• Design, create, and maintain databases within a client/server environment.

• Conduct quality control measures and database audits to ensure accurate and appropriate data usage.

• Provide guidance to users regarding access to client/server databases.

• Design, implement, and maintain complex databases incorporating JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.

• Utilize database technologies, development methodologies, and programming languages such as SQL for both front-end and back-end development.

• Engage in database programming and assist in systems design.

• Maintain database dictionaries and oversee compliance with standards and procedures.

• Manage file design and storage, integrating systems through effective database design.

⛳️ Requirements

• IT-I security clearance is required, or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• A clear criminal history check is necessary.

• No recent or pending bankruptcies are allowed.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with database query languages including Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience and expertise in Relational Database Management Systems.

• Ability to operate across various operating systems and familiarity with additional programming languages.

• Must hold a DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II.

• Computing Environment Certification: MC: Azure DBAA, MCSA: SQL 2012 DBA, MCSA: SQL 2016 DBA, MC: Azure SEA.

• DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: DBA Admin.
