This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Actively identify deficiencies in the business's approach to problem-solving.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to frame essential questions and develop solutions.
• Design, create, and manage tools for forecasting, spend allocation, marketing incrementality, and attribution.
• Develop and implement A/B tests and intricate causal inference analyses.
• Take ownership of hypothesis formulation, experiment design, and result analysis.
• Construct metrics frameworks and measurement strategies.
• Work alongside the ML organization to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Convert vague business issues into decision-making frameworks.
• Manage projects from scoping and analysis to storytelling and facilitating organizational change.
• Influence engineering, product, finance, and executive leadership without having direct authority.
• Over 8 years of experience in data science or quantitative roles that have a direct impact on product or business strategy.
• Proven expertise in experimental design and A/B testing.
• Extensive statistical knowledge, particularly in causal inference methods.
• Proficient coding abilities.
• Established history of translating data into actionable business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous environments and guide direction through insightful inquiry.
• Outstanding communication skills, with the capability to articulate complex technical work into understandable narratives.
• Experience with ML applications and the ability to collaborate with ML/data science teams on technical challenges.
• Knowledge of personalization, recommendation systems, or matching algorithms.
• Prior experience in forecasting, spend allocation optimization, marketing incrementality, or attribution is highly desirable.
