Manager, Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Provide analytics and insights to enhance Clinical operations.

• Evaluate, design, and implement data solutions utilizing Google Cloud Platform.

• Serve as an internal analytics expert employing SSIS, SSRS, Teradata, Alteryx, GCP, Python, Tableau, Dataiku, and other analytical tools.

• Facilitate data automation reporting from various data source connections.

• Concentrate on GCP migration strategies.

• Streamline existing manual data processes through automation.

• Assist in data staging essential for Tableau dashboards.

• Create dashboards that deliver insights on prior authorization and exception requests.

• Collaborate with operations business partners to identify their requirements.

• Formulate business logic metrics for display in Tableau KPIs.

• Report directly to the Senior Manager of Analytical Insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience is required.

• Over 5 years of experience with database technologies such as PL/SQL, T-SQL, SQLS, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning.

• More than 5 years of experience in building and assessing predictive models or machine learning workflows using Python libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, or NumPy.

• At least 5 years of experience with the deployment, monitoring, or MLOps pipelines of machine learning models.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including SQL Server on GCP.

• More than 5 years of hands-on experience in crafting SQL queries, packages, functions, and views for both ad-hoc and recurring reports.

• Over 5 years of experience with ETL and reporting tools such as SSIS, SSRS, Alteryx, and Python.

• At least 5 years of experience with various RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Teradata) and complex SQL report development.

• More than 5 years of experience using Python for data processing and automation.

• Understanding of database design principles along with logical and physical data modeling.

• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and documentation best practices.

• Ability to convert business requirements into technical specifications.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; capable of working independently as well as in a team setting.

• An agile mindset focused on delivering incremental value and rapid feedback.

• Quick adaptability to learn new domains and data sources.

• Ability to uphold best practices.

• Strong presentation skills with experience in engaging business stakeholders.
