📋 Description

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver design and engineering services for AWS projects and solutions.

• Serve as a thought leader in providing technical solutions for clients.

• Ensure alignment of delivery teams with industry best practices and enhance the skills of architecture and engineering personnel.

• Provide professional services globally for CDW customers on major public cloud platforms.

• Oversee the technical solutions across various projects to ensure cohesive delivery.

• Work alongside CDW consulting teams to develop integrated technical solution strategies, bridging sales and delivery efforts.

• Standardize technical methodologies and create tailored client solutions.

• Support management in crafting technical growth strategies for engineers and architects.

• Aid in the review and approval process for Statements of Work (SOW).

• Participate in technical candidate interviews to assist with screening processes.

• Lead the technical deployment engineering efforts with clients for workload design on major public cloud platforms.

• Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and industry leaders on innovative public cloud technologies.

• Mentor and train engineers and architects on Cloud and DevOps initiatives.

• Provide AWS engineering services, coordinate engagement strategies, and assess technical resource needs.

• Supervise team projects to ensure high standards of delivery and act as a point of escalation when necessary.

• Analyze intricate systems, workflows, and interdependencies to devise efficient automation solutions.

• Carry out billable consulting tasks for CDW clients.

• Assist presales architects with significant deals by verifying consulting estimates and offering Cloud/DevOps expertise.

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of Cloud Solutions practice areas in response to client demands and market trends.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and over 10 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, including at least 3 years in large enterprise consulting; or over 14 years of IT Infrastructure experience with at least 3 years in large enterprise consulting.

• Proven leadership and expert guidance on technical issues and architecture design.

• In-depth knowledge and awareness of current technology trends as a subject matter expert.

• Capability to develop IT service offerings effectively.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain client relationships as a trusted advisor.

• Experience in mentoring engineers in project design and coordination.

• Exceptional communication skills with experience in making technology recommendations.

• Ability to build constructive relationships across all organizational levels.

• Skill in researching complex technology solutions and presenting them to clients.

• Capability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

• Willingness to travel to various CDW locations or client sites as needed.

• Comprehensive knowledge of public cloud platforms and multi-platform solutions.

• Proficiency in automation and infrastructure as code practices.

• In-depth understanding of Kubernetes architecture, including master and worker nodes, API server, etcd, kubelet, kube-proxy, and container runtimes.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking concepts such as service discovery, load balancing, network policies, and container networking interfaces (CNI).

• Expertise in configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.

• Proficient in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.

• Skilled in IaC tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

• Proficient in containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Deep understanding of AI and machine learning algorithms including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP).

• Commitment to continuous learning regarding advancements, research, and breakthroughs in AI and related fields.

• Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.

• Experience in implementing DevOps workflows and pipelines.

• Meet training and certification requirements for selected vendors such as AWS, HashiCorp, Docker, and CKA.
