
Principal Consultant – Incident Response, French-Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France, +4 more countries.
• Act as the technical authority during incident response initiatives.
• Create and implement innovative techniques to identify malicious actors within extensive datasets.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel to carry out intrusion investigations.
• Conduct forensic analysis on hosts and/or networks across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
• Generate written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for client management, regulatory bodies, and legal representatives.
• Exhibit industry thought leadership through blog articles, CrowdCasts, and various public speaking engagements.
• Proficiency in both English and French.
• Background in one or more of the following: incident response, computer forensic analysis, network forensic analysis, reverse engineering, incident remediation, network operations and architecture/engineering, cloud incident response, or communications.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and analytical tools such as Bro/Zeek or Suricata.
• Capability to analyze related network logs.
• Ability to comprehend both static and dynamic malware analysis.
• Strong grasp of targeted attacks and the ability to formulate tailored tactical and strategic remediation strategies.
• Comprehensive understanding of secure network architecture along with experience in network operations.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP incident response frameworks.
• Proficient in conveying both executive-level and detailed findings to clients, as well as providing instructions, guidance, and methodologies to internal teams.
• Able to execute technical tasks independently.
• Excellent project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, optimize workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and achieve business results.
• BA or BS / MA or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience and/or training in place of a degree.
• Certifications such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GCFA, GCFE, CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or OSCE are advantageous qualifications.
