This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico, +1 more country.
• Direct the design, development, and execution of data programming solutions that support clinical trials and research projects.
• Supervise clinical data science workstreams, ensuring that deliverables align with quality and timeline expectations.
• Create, validate, and sustain programming solutions for CDMS/EDC systems such as Rave and Veeva, including data validation and analytics outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and clinical-trial programs.
• Develop and manage programs for processing external vendor data.
• Retrieve data from CDMS and generate data transfer programs.
• Collaborate with data managers, project managers, biostatisticians, and other teams to integrate programming solutions into data management workflows.
• Act as the main contact for system programming inquiries during study setup and maintenance.
• Engage in internal and external meetings, offering constructive feedback to peers, team leaders, and functional management.
• Guide and mentor programmers, providing ad hoc assistance, training, and support.
• Promote knowledge sharing through presentations and training materials.
• Contribute to enhancements in technical systems and processes in a subject matter expert role.
• Keep abreast of programming languages and data management tools to enhance operational efficiency.
• Over 10 years of experience in programming for EDC systems (Rave), including data validation outputs, data review/risk management outputs, custom reports, and programs in clinical trials.
• Experience in Data Analytics (SAS, SQL, R, etc.).
• Previous experience in leading, training, and mentoring junior programmers.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, and/or Python.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with a dedication to producing high-quality results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and influence outcomes.
• Advanced English communication, writing, and reading skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, life sciences, or related fields.
