Principal Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of OpenText Information Archive solutions and intricate enterprise data archiving projects.

• Collect both business and technical requirements from clients.

• Convert requirements into scalable strategies for archiving, retention, and application decommissioning.

• Provide technical guidance during implementations, including system sizing, architecture planning, data discovery, ETL processes, and the design of archival solutions.

• Work in tandem with Account Executives, Solution Consultants, Strategic Partners, and Professional Services teams throughout the sales and delivery processes.

• Lead cloud-based and on-premises deployments, including those in Kubernetes environments.

• Assist in pre-sales activities through solution scoping, project estimation, proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and responses to RFPs.

• Mentor and nurture junior consultants.

• Advocate for delivery excellence, best practices, and expertise in OpenText Information Archive and enterprise information management solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 12 years of experience in Information Technology.

• Minimum of 8 years dedicated to enterprise archiving solutions such as OpenText Information Archive, Solix, Informatica, IBM Optim, or comparable platforms.

• Proven experience in architecting and implementing medium to large-scale archiving, application decommissioning, and data retention solutions.

• Strong proficiency in ETL processes and tools.

• Practical experience with Java, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, REST services, and related technologies.

• Familiarity with enterprise software deployments in both cloud and on-premises settings.

• Experience with Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

• Capable of leading technical discussions and formulating solution roadmaps.

• Proficient in communicating with technical, business, and executive stakeholders.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experienced in supporting pre-sales initiatives, technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and customer workshops.

• Ability to work independently while fostering strong customer relationships.
