Principal Application Architect

📋 Description

• Develop intricate software applications and create logical processes on technical platforms to support organizational processes and initiatives.

• Create user system interfaces and prototypes for business applications.

• Participate in performance and integration testing, as well as business and technical analysis, and data modeling.

• Construct complex screens, windows, and reports.

• Act as a technical authority for clients, addressing gaps and inconsistencies in information system architectures.

• Set principles, directions, and standards for the information system framework at the program or project level.

• Define components of information system solutions and their interrelations.

• Ensure information solutions accommodate incremental development, maintenance, and future enhancements.

• Manage and facilitate cross-functional teams working concurrently on architectural requirements.

• Offer guidance and oversight in the creation of internal information solution architecture.

• Investigate technological innovations and revise standards to enhance company solutions.

• Determine business needs and guarantee that solutions align with performance engineering standards.

• Mitigate client risks by ensuring compliance with architectural requirements within budget, scope, and time limits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.

• Twelve or more years of experience in information systems technology.

• Familiarity with Medicaid Pharmacy products.

• Proficiency in relevant programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software.

• Experience in the technology sector.

• Knowledge of the interaction between information technology and functional teams within an organization.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

• Effective communication abilities.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

• Capacity to establish technical direction for a project or application.

• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is preferred.
