Forward Deployed Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct discovery sessions with marketing and data teams to establish precise activation use cases.

• Analyze and interpret customer data, designing solutions to address data deficiencies.

• Develop target-state schemas and establish identity matching protocols.

• Guide agents in profiling data warehouses, suggesting models, and executing transformations.

• Review, revise, and take ownership of data models and assess their effectiveness.

• Define, calculate, and advocate for success metrics alongside customers and senior leadership.

• Serve as the designated architect for customers concerning data model, source, and identity graph modifications.

• Generate reusable reference architectures.

• Construct semantic layers, metric definitions, and business logic for AI agents.

• Recognize product deficiencies and relay them to product teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.

• Experience in optimizing query performance and managing warehouse costs.

• Background in guiding AI agents and analyzing their outputs.

• Over 5 years in a customer-facing technical position, such as analytics engineering, solutions architecture, forward-deployed engineering, data consulting, or in-house marketing data roles at a major brand.

• Experience in data architecture.

• Bonus: Familiarity with dbt, SQLMesh, or comparable transformation tools.

• Bonus: Proficient in git-native, PR-driven workflows.

• Bonus: Previous experience with identity resolution, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), or Master Data Management (MDM).
