Senior Experience Architect – Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct design teams throughout the entire project lifecycle

• Propel essential design activities and deliverables

• Utilize Design-Thinking methodologies and contribute to innovative methods and offerings

• Craft engaging narratives and convey design concepts that highlight business value

• Employ AI tools to spur innovation, improve efficiency, and expedite design delivery

• Spearhead digital strategies and visions

• Direct research, interaction design, and visual design across the Salesforce platform

• Facilitate customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and collaborative design sessions

• Mentor designers within the Experience Design team

• Manage research projects and distill complex data insights for strategic decision-making

• Create project scopes, timelines, and strategic roadmaps

• Handle scope modifications, recognize issues, and adapt as needed

• Collaborate on project tasks, client proposals, and business opportunities

• Lead experience design initiatives including research, workshops, interviews, and synthesis

• Cultivate relationships with customers and stakeholders while aligning teams on project roles, responsibilities, and vision

• Organize, coordinate, and manage multidisciplinary project teams

• Sustain team motivation and morale

• Address or escalate project team challenges and conflicts

• Engage and collaborate with external clients and other partners

• Ensure successful project outcomes and high levels of customer satisfaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in experience design, interaction design, or related areas

• Experience in consulting for enterprise-level technology transformation initiatives, preferably with Fortune 500 companies

• Strong expertise with AI tools, including generative AI and automation platforms

• Exceptional visual design and prototyping skills

• Strong research and synthesis abilities using both qualitative and quantitative data

• Proven experience in leading multidisciplinary teams

• Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and engage with clients

• Experience in designing applications that balance user needs, business requirements, commercial interests, and technological limitations

• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, UX-related software, and prototyping tools such as InVision, Flinto, Marvel, and Proto.io

• Understanding of technology and software development as it pertains to design

• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP, or other enterprise software

• Experience in both B2B and B2C sectors

• A degree or equivalent relevant experience is required

• Salesforce product knowledge and solution design experience is highly preferred

• Experience in Financial Services, Health, and Life Sciences is preferred

• Background in design consulting is a plus

• Salesforce Admin Certification is preferred

• Salesforce UX Designer Certification is preferred

• Salesforce Strategy Designer Certification is preferred

• Salesforce Agentforce Specialist Certification is preferred
