Principal Analyst, Partner Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Generate insights and disseminate information to various stakeholder groups within Evolent.

• Ensure the integrity and quality of data in all deliverables.

• Track and manage performance metrics and reporting processes.

• Resolve data gaps and system limitations through effective problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration.

• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Supervise reporting and analytical functions across multiple initiatives.

• Improve existing reporting outputs.

• Develop scalable and repeatable analytics solutions utilizing SQL, Power BI, and Excel.

• Coordinate analytics efforts with Product, Finance, Clinical Operations, and BI teams.

• Lead the analytical segments of external meetings and presentations.

• Integrate analytics into operational workflows and decision-making processes.

• Spearhead healthcare analytics projects that support data-driven decision-making.

• Extract insights from analyses to guide business decisions.

• Convey technical findings to audiences without a technical background.

• Produce polished presentations and narratives that showcase client insights and recommendations.

• Conduct peer reviews of reports and presentations for consistency, alignment, and formatting.

• Mentor junior team members on best practices for presentations.

• Set quality standards and guarantee timely project delivery.

• Act as a subject matter expert for Evolent in one or more functional areas.

• Guide junior analysts and facilitate their professional growth.

• Encourage knowledge sharing and the adoption of best practices across teams.

• Promote continuous learning and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.

• Over 8 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a related field.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.

• Capability to create intermediate data sets and integrate disparate datasets.

• Proven ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Familiarity with data systems.

• Strong critical thinking skills to address new challenges and adapt to shifts in data architecture.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making recommendations or decisions with incomplete information.

• Knowledge of U.S. healthcare systems, including claims, reimbursement models, and regulatory frameworks.

• High-speed internet connection of at least 10 Mbps at home.

• Completion of identity verification, a comprehensive background check, and in-person I-9 verification is required.

• Possible drug screening prior to employment.
