Primary Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Manage a manageable caseload, which includes individual and family therapy sessions.

• Ensure timely completion of all required documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

• Lead weekly therapy groups, encompassing Process Groups and DBT Groups.

• Participate in weekly Treatment Team meetings, presenting cases to the clinical staff.

• Conduct Biopsychosocial Assessments upon client admission.

• Collaborate with parents and the Discharge Coordinator to arrange after-care.

• Deliver outpatient treatment to adolescents facing challenges with addiction and/or mental health issues.

• Advocate for a holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, and spirit.

⛳️ Requirements

• Licensed as an LMFT/LPCC/LCSW in California, or an Associate with AMFT/ACSW/APCC in California.

• Experience with DBT or a willingness to acquire this knowledge.

• Must successfully pass a Live Scan background check.

• Possess exceptional clinical judgment.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Must reside in California.

• Available Monday to Thursday between 9 am and 7 pm, with an 8-hour workday and at least two days scheduled from 11 am to 7 pm.

• Available on Fridays from 9 am to 5 pm.
