This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Assess solicitations to determine pricing requirements and collaborate with the Contracts team on any conflicts or ambiguities.
• Create pricing structures for IDIQ contracts and BPAs, which includes multi-year escalated labor rate tables, vehicle-level ceiling rates, and responses to task order/call order inquiries.
• Engage in proposal development and pricing strategy sessions.
• Work alongside Capture and Business Development teams to finalize Bases of Estimate for labor, material, subcontract, and travel needs.
• Construct and sustain pricing models utilizing approved indirect and forward pricing rates.
• Partner with Capture and Subcontracts departments to formulate Requests for Quotes for potential subcontractors.
• Conduct cost and price reasonableness analyses, incorporating subcontractor evaluations.
• Generate pricing assumptions, financial summaries, cash flow analyses, and assessments of risks and opportunities.
• Draft Cost Narratives and supporting content for cost volumes.
• Assist in responding to Government cost Evaluation Notices, fact-finding requests, and audit inquiries.
• Compare labor categories and rates with market standards and published Government data.
• Maintain systematic pricing methodologies, assumptions, and proposal support documentation.
• Input and update opportunities within pricing and enterprise systems as well as tracking logs.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and analyses for the proposal team.
• At least five years of experience in pricing U.S. Government solicitations.
• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in developing pricing proposals that encompass direct hires, existing staff, and subcontracted labor.
• Demonstrated experience in crafting Cost Narratives and addressing Government cost Evaluation Notices.
• Background in drafting Requests for Quotes and conducting cost/price analyses.
• Familiarity with FAR and DFARS compliance.
• Understanding of various contract types including CPFF, FFP, FPLOE, and T&M.
• Knowledge of indirect rate structures (fringe, overhead, G&A) and their relevance in proposal pricing.
• Experience with certified cost or pricing data (TINA) submissions to the Government.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to build and audit pricing models.
• Awareness of CAS compliance and CPIF and IDIQ/task-order contract frameworks.
• Experience supporting DCAA audits and familiarity with DCAA-approved accounting systems.
• Background in pricing IDIQ and BPA vehicles, including ceiling rate formulation and task order/call order responses.
• Competence with Deltek Costpoint or a similar ERP/cost accounting system.
• Familiarity with cost estimating and pricing tools.
• Knowledge of GSA Schedule pricing and labor-category benchmarking.
• Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively within a team to meet demanding deadlines.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).
