This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.
• Assist the Pricing Team in executing pricing objectives that align with the firm's strategic goals.
• Gather and assess financial data.
• Develop financial models that support pricing initiatives.
• Create reports to monitor actuals and discern trends.
• Aid in pricing programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Examine market trends and competitor pricing strategies.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Produce analyses that support pricing strategies, policies, and optimizations.
• Deliver profitability analytics and financial information to meet client profitability goals.
• Assist in the annual billing rate-setting process, benchmarking, and maintenance of fee arrangements.
• Manage and verify pricing databases, tools, and templates, including Iridium and Elite 3E.
• Prepare and present pricing analyses, reports, and dashboards to leadership and attorneys.
• Provide ad hoc financial analyses as required.
• Establish and maintain a pricing model database.
• Address attorney inquiries regarding matter planning, budgeting, and tracking.
• Utilize Excel and automation to reduce workload.
• Respond to requests for alternative pricing proposals and prepare pricing estimates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A 4-year degree with a major in Finance is preferred; or a combination of education and relevant work experience is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, profitability analysis, or economics, ideally within a professional services context.
• Proficiency in legal statistical modeling and pricing tools is essential.
• Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in computer systems and related tools.
• Experience with Iridium, Elite 3E, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Outstanding organizational, time-management, and prioritization abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to evolving business needs.
