This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +4 more states.
• Formulate pricing strategies and proposals for both new and existing Clarus products and services.
• Analyze various pricing models, including subscription, transaction-based, usage-based, claims-based, and hybrid structures.
• Suggest pricing, packaging, bundling, and commercialization strategies for software and data offerings.
• Evaluate business cases and pricing methodologies for new product launches, strategic alliances, and market expansions.
• Track pricing performance and propose optimization opportunities to enhance revenue growth, adoption rates, and profitability.
• Establish pricing governance frameworks and approval processes across the product range.
• Conduct market research focused on customer purchasing behaviors, willingness to pay, unmet needs, and market trends.
• Compile competitive intelligence regarding veterinary software providers, practice management systems, claims solutions, payment platforms, and new market entrants.
• Assess competitor pricing models, product offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
• Identify market opportunities, threats, and industry trends that impact product strategies and commercial decisions.
• Carry out customer and stakeholder interviews, surveys, and research projects.
• Evaluate costs associated with product delivery, operations, implementation, support, and partnerships.
• Create financial models and scenario analyses to assess pricing alternatives and anticipated business outcomes.
• Collaborate with Finance on revenue forecasts, margin evaluations, and long-term planning assumptions.
• Assess pricing effectiveness through metrics related to adoption, retention, revenue, and profitability.
• Generate executive-level reports, dashboards, and actionable recommendations.
• Work alongside Product Managers throughout the product lifecycle on pricing and commercialization strategies.
• Cooperate with Commercial teams to ensure pricing recommendations align with market realities and customer needs.
• Assist in strategic planning, annual operating planning, and prioritization of product investments.
• Collaborate with M&A, Strategic Partnerships, and Corporate Development teams on acquisitions, partnerships, and innovative business models.
• Support product launch readiness, including pricing, positioning, and market evaluations.
• Success is evaluated based on revenue and margin impact, effectiveness of pricing recommendations, launch preparedness, competitive positioning, executive engagement, quality of intelligence, and support for strategic decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience in pricing strategy, market research, product operations, strategic planning, management consulting, business analysis, or related areas.
• Preferred experience in supporting SaaS, healthcare technology, insurance technology, payments, analytics, AI-enabled products, or platform businesses.
• Proven experience in developing business cases, financial models, and pricing recommendations.
• Experience in conducting primary and secondary market research and competitive analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling expertise.
• Ability to distill large volumes of market, customer, and financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills tailored for executive audiences.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
• Capacity to influence decision-making across cross-functional teams.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Power BI/Tableau is preferred.
