This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of TRM’s blockchain intelligence for a key coverage area
• Produce comprehensive, source-cited intelligence reports related to scam/fraud, counter-narcotics, facilitation, and money laundering
• Develop a complete AI capability that processes a variety of intelligence signals and enhances target selection
• Track funds across different chains and through methods of obfuscation
• Correlate on-chain actions with OSINT, including sources in Mandarin
• Identify money laundering organizations, threat actors, and gambling networks
• Propel attribution and leads that support Mission, Counter Narcotics, Nation States, as well as Facilitation and Money Laundering efforts
• Establish ambitious goals and elevate the standards of investigative practices
• Create reusable AI pipelines and methodologies that are embraced by the wider Intelligence team
• Collaborate across various time zones with Intelligence pods and Global Investigations
• Assume responsibility for an active case and deliver a completed intelligence product within the first 30 days
• Develop a reusable end-to-end AI pipeline within the initial 60 days
• Expand coverage against money laundering organizations or gambling networks within the first 90 days
• 5 to 8+ years of experience in blockchain intelligence, crypto investigations, threat intelligence, or financial crime investigations
• Proficient in OSINT and off-chain investigative techniques
• Capacity to link on-chain activities to real-world individuals, companies, and networks
• Expertise in professional money laundering organizations, illicit gambling networks, and underground banking
• Practical experience in blockchain tracing is advantageous, although not mandatory
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is highly desirable
• Experience with production AI, including constructing end-to-end pipelines that process diverse intel signals and enhance target selection
• Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs
• Proven history of independently conducting complex investigations
• Proficient in producing clear, source-cited written intelligence
• US-based candidates preferred, though not required
• Willingness to work standard business hours in your timezone with 3–4 hours of overlap across US time zones, with a preference for EST
• Occasional travel for team activities
