This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement approved pricing strategies by establishing and managing customer prices, formula prices, spot prices, price bands, and associated pricing records in SAP.
• Input monthly price forecasts as part of the S&OP process for evaluation with the Product Director.
• Oversee and address pricing-related inquiries, investigating and resolving price discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain and verify customer rebate, incentive, and price formula agreements, which includes documentation, setup, accrual tracking, settlement support, and payout reconciliation with Finance.
• Track price realization, margin development, rebate exposure, customer profitability, and critical commercial risks.
• Create reports, dashboards, and insights to aid Product Management and Commercial decision-making.
• Ensure that pricing and rebate processes adhere to approved policies, delegation of authority, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data quality, minimize manual tasks, and reinforce controls.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Commercial, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Legal, and IT on price adjustments, rebate programs, customer negotiations, and issue resolution.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; preferred fields include business, finance, economics, supply chain, data analytics, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical, pricing, commercial, finance, customer-facing, product management, or supply chain capacity.
• Experience with SAP pricing, rebate, contract, or condition record processes is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis; familiarity with Power BI, dashboards, or comparable reporting tools is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with the skill to interpret pricing, margin, volume, rebate, and customer data.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling pricing master data, rebate agreements, accruals, and financial information.
• Capability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines while ensuring quality and responsiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate data-driven insights to commercial and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of strategic pricing concepts such as price bands, value-based pricing, competitive alternatives, formula pricing, and price realization.
• Knowledge of rebate and incentive frameworks, including volume-based rebates, tiered incentives, market development incentives, accruals, settlement, and payout processes.
• Experience with customer contracts, rebate letters, approval workflows, or pricing delegation processes.
• Familiarity with commercial controls, audit requirements, and documentation standards related to pricing and incentives.
• Ability to detect pricing leakage, rebate inconsistencies, margin erosion, data quality challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.
