Presales Systems Engineer – HPE Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Assist in the expansion of the HPE Networking division, which encompasses Aruba and Juniper Networks.

• Attain technical expertise in Aruba's wired/wireless systems, ClearPass, Central, as well as Juniper's switching, routing, security, and automation.

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer requirements and craft networking solutions.

• Provide technical presentations and demonstrations.

• Develop architectures and proposals that align with customer goals.

• Spearhead proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Engage in advanced training programs and obtain relevant certifications.

• Collaborate with internal teams and partners to promote and facilitate the adoption of solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in networking infrastructure.

• Previous role as a networking Systems Engineer or a similar position.

• Desired experience in networking design, installation, services, and support.

• Knowledge and experience in state, local, or federal government; higher education; K12; enterprise; and service provider sectors.

• Understanding of network design principles and protocols.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

• Candidates must be located in the greater Portland, Salem, or Eugene regions.

• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations within Oregon.

• Familiarity with SLED and enterprise environments and their procurement processes.

• Enthusiasm for network automation, AI-driven operations, and cloud-managed networking.
