This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with Architects as a networking specialist, supporting account teams, clients, and go-to-market strategies.
• Facilitate consultative conversations with clients about network platforms.
• Assess customer data center settings and infrastructure technologies in partnership with account teams.
• Create and suggest customized infrastructure solutions that align with clients’ business goals.
• Develop and sustain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.
• Deliver product training and technical education to sales teams and clients.
• Serve as a reliable IT advisor in collaboration with Field Account Executives.
• Oversee the solution practice pipeline and devise strategies for key prospects.
• Secure new business and pinpoint technology opportunities across data center, cloud, network, security, collaboration, and services.
• Formulate solutions that meet customer needs and financial constraints through strategic planning.
• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other key client contacts.
• Train and develop sales teams on technical selling, services, products, and current technology trends.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products, including switches, routers, wireless, Nexus, and Meraki.
• Familiarity with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
• Advanced certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP, CASX, or ACSP are advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of technical network solutions including routing/switching, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud edge, virtual networking, secure access, and network visibility.
• Capacity to communicate and sell intricate technical products or services effectively.
• Proficiency with similar products and solutions from Aruba, Juniper, HPE, Arista, and other vendors.
• Experience with software-defined networking technologies such as SDDC, SD-WAN, SASE, and SSE.
