Presales Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with clients and the Sales team to provide comprehensive solutions.

• Take responsibility for the technical design of solutions aimed at Global Enterprise Strategic Accounts.

• Collect technical specifications and customer feedback.

• Create solution designs for infrastructure, devices, backhaul, networks, and applications.

• Plan deployment, implementation, migration, and/or cutover processes.

• Design, develop, maintain, and manage portable Ecosystem demonstration kits customized for specific industry verticals.

• Work alongside Sales to present customer demonstrations and pilots.

• Engage in Sales strategy, system integration, and competitive intelligence initiatives.

• Collaborate with global Product teams to assist in business development, Sales efforts, and customer support.

• Provide support for mission-critical technologies including communications networks, command and control software, video solutions, business continuity/resiliency, mass notification applications, and cybersecurity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, ideally in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

• Bachelor's Degree accompanied by 2+ years of experience in Sales, Presales, Project Management, Engineering, or Public Safety, or alternatively, 6+ years of experience in one of those fields.

• Familiarity with wireless communications fundamentals and voice/data architectures, including APCO P25, DMR, TETRA, LTE, 802.11, 3GPP 4G/5G, FirstNet/Frontline, is highly desirable.

• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.), IP networking architecture, protocols, and security is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of RF coverage predictions, microwave design, traffic/capacity modeling, and related toolsets is an asset.

• Understanding of fixed and mobile video solutions.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to flawless execution.

• Willingness to travel 50%–75% of the time.

• Must reside near a major airport.
