This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead a team of high-performing Sales Engineers that supports a strategic HPE Networking customer.
• Drive the technical sales strategy and nurture presales talent.
• Collaborate with account leadership to accelerate business growth and enhance executive-level customer relationships.
• Act as the senior technical leader for networking, security, AI-driven networking, cloud, and infrastructure solutions.
• Formulate and implement technical account strategies.
• Provide support for large and complex opportunities.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain technical talent.
• Create succession plans and career growth opportunities.
• Set team goals and performance metrics.
• Build executive-level relationships with customer technology and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Leadership on account strategies.
• Assist with executive briefings, customer workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
• Lead technical sales engagements for intricate, multi-domain networking and infrastructure opportunities.
• Guide solution architecture, technical validation, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and competitive positioning.
• Align technical resources with priority opportunities and customer objectives.
• Work in tandem with product and engineering teams to address customer requirements and influence product direction.
• Manage technical opportunity pipelines, forecasting activities, and resource planning.
• Enhance SE productivity, coverage, and technical program consistency.
• Monitor competition and market trends within the telecommunications industry.
• Collaborate with channel organizations and strategic partners to broaden market opportunities.
• Over 10 years of experience in networking, telecommunications, infrastructure, or cloud technologies.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience managing Systems Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Presales organizations.
• Proven success in supporting large telecommunications providers, ideally service providers or comparable Tier 1 service providers.
• Experience in leading geographically distributed technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and engage in strategic customer interactions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, telecom architectures, cloud networking, security, automation, and AI-driven infrastructure solutions.
• A proven track record of supporting large-scale, complex sales opportunities and achieving business results.
• University or Bachelor's degree.
• Strong expertise in Juniper networking technologies and carrier-class networking environments.
• Familiarity with service provider architectures, WAN, routing, switching, SD-WAN, security, and network automation.
• In-depth expertise in service provider networking, data center networking, and campus and branch networking.
• Understanding of AI-powered networking and cloud-native network operations.
• Experience working in matrixed global organizations.
