This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Lead a Systems Engineering team that supports the strategic customers of HPE Networking.
β’ Develop and implement technical sales strategies while nurturing presales talent.
β’ Establish executive-level connections with customer technology and business stakeholders.
β’ Collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to devise account strategies, enhance revenue growth, and expand market share.
β’ Offer strategic direction on networking, security, cloud, AI, automation, and infrastructure projects.
β’ Facilitate executive briefings, customer workshops, and strategic planning meetings.
β’ Spearhead technical sales efforts for intricate, multi-domain networking and infrastructure projects.
β’ Direct solution architecture, technical validation, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and competitive positioning.
β’ Align technical resources with priority projects and customer goals.
β’ Work closely with product and engineering teams to meet customer needs and influence product development.
β’ Oversee technical opportunity pipelines, forecasting, and resource management.
β’ Enhance the productivity, coverage, and consistency of Systems Engineering programs.
β’ Keep track of competitive activities and market trends in the telecommunications sector.
β’ Collaborate with channel organizations and strategic partners to broaden market opportunities.
β’ Recruit, mentor, and retain technical talent while formulating succession strategies.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in networking, telecommunications, infrastructure, or cloud technologies.
β’ More than 5 years of leadership experience overseeing Systems Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Presales teams.
β’ Proven success in supporting large telecommunications providers, ideally service providers or comparable Tier 1 companies.
β’ Experience in leading geographically dispersed technical teams.
β’ Ability to influence executive stakeholders and engage in strategic customer interactions.
β’ Strong comprehension of enterprise networking, telecom architectures, cloud networking, security, automation, and AI-driven infrastructure solutions.
β’ Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex sales opportunities and achieving business outcomes.
β’ A University or Bachelor's degree.
β’ In-depth expertise in Juniper networking technologies and carrier-class networking environments.
β’ Familiarity with service provider architectures, WAN, routing, switching, SD-WAN, security, and network automation.
β’ Proficiency in service provider networking, including MPLS, Segment Routing, BGP, and IS-IS.
β’ Expertise in data center networking, specifically EVPN/VXLAN and leaf-spine architectures.
β’ Understanding of AI-powered networking and cloud-native network operations.
β’ Experience in working within matrixed global organizations.
β’ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
