Prelitigation Paralegal

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Oversee personal injury pre-litigation files during the demand phase.

• Ensure consistent communication with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and legal representatives.

• Request, evaluate, and monitor medical records, bills, lost wages, and other relevant case documentation.

• Draft demand packages, correspondence, statements, and summaries of cases.

• Keep case files well-organized and adhere to deadlines within the firm’s case management system.

• Support attorneys in all facets of pre-litigation case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in Virginia personal injury pre-litigation is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of auto insurance coverages, medical records, insurance claims, and personal injury processes.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Capability to independently manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with legal software or case management systems is preferred.

• Must possess legal authorization to work in the United States.
